NEWS: Local 793’s SUB Plan |
August 2020: Operating Engineers (Local 793) has succeeded in getting a Supplemental Unemployment Benefits (SUB) plan approved by Service Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency which will be funded by redirecting a portion of the existing benefit remittances to this SUB Plan. They have modified their Employer Contribution Report. Please see attached for details. CRAO members do not need to perform any recalculations on the remittances that cover the May 1, 2020 – July 31, 2020 period. Any changes that need to be made (including changes to RST calculations) will be performed by the union and members affected by any such recalculations will be notified by the union in writing.
